A model card is a standardised summary that accompanies an AI model. It records what the model does, the data and metrics behind it, how it performs across different groups, its known limitations, and the contexts in which it should and should not be used.
Model cards support transparency and responsible deployment, helping users and reviewers judge whether a model is fit for a given purpose.
