Scenarios structure the solution decision
Instead of writing a separate plan for every conceivable event, robust outage scenarios are considered: missing staff, a failed site, unavailable technology or an interrupted supply of services.
For each scenario, options for action are compared by goal achievement, effort, lead time and residual risk.
A strategy needs a funded implementation
The decision does not end with the presentation. Required contracts, redundancies, working procedures and competencies are transferred into an action plan with an owner, a deadline and an effectiveness check.
